Work Session

A work session for the Independence Community School Board started at 6:00 pm at the Administration Office,1207 1^st St West, Independence, IA.  Board members attending:  Kim Hansen, Gina Trimble, Audrey Hill, and Mitch Barnett. Charlie McCardle was absent.   Also attending: Superintendent Phillips and Director of Finance Morine. Chad Alley with ICAT joined electronically.

The board worked on strategic planning and reviewed the board’s action plan. Chad Alley with ICAT joined electronically to review the process of an RFQ for the district's master facility planning.

The board moved into an exempt session at 8:02 pm to discuss negotiation strategies.

The work session ended at 9:12 pm
