Background:
My husband, Russ, and I moved our family to Independence from Wisconsin in 2008 for Russ’ employment. Our four children attend ICSD and are very involved in activities. I am a former high school science teacher who has taught in Iowa and Wisconsin, served as sponsor for school activities, and helped develop Biology and Materials Science teaching materials at UNI and UW-Madison. I enjoy volunteering in our schools and community, gardening, reading, and hiking with my family.
